I wonder about family... We spend so much time dissenting our similarities to our siblings and parents. OK, we want to be different. But we just make ourselves more like everybody if we care so much about what is genetic and what was simply inherited, I believe we get to pick things we see in them and just add it onto our personalities. Even though some times it feels more like a false impression, great to believe in, but not necessarily true.. I see a lot of my mother in me. Some of my grandma, some of my dad, my sister not so much, I am sure we have a lot in common I just don't recognize it, it's fun to think we are completely different. My mother is the hardest to deal with. It comes from others more than me, thus my reaction. Like, "wow! you spoke just like your mom now.." or " that's something your mother would do/say..." like WTF?! Or when you hear men saying that to get to know if a girl could be the girl "look at her mom and you'll know!" Sounds simply scary to me.. After all, these are just things being said. Really? I am more than happy to be compared to such beautiful and grateful people. btw Mom.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY QUEEN! I LOVE YOU, SO VERY VERY MUCH.

DRIES VAN NOTEN SS 2010 Ethnicity is not a synonym of elegance, but miscegenation just explodes it right out. Seems like many designers are looking back to their roots for this season (Ms. Prada "never looks back"). The ones who did well: as they walked back their time line, they fetched keys of their history and rebuilt or just brought them back for remembrance. But not Dries. He went back, looked back and kept only the ethnicity, from all collections I've seen, it was always there and specifically from where, we could tell. This season I felt like he cauldroned every race and their seas, added a hint of different beliefs and had the girls stroll it down the runway. Am I the only one loving Dries more?

Nossa, que trabalho deu esse trabalho. Me dá arrepio só de lembrar. Ainda nos tempos de Barcelona, nos juntamos com um dos melhores figurinistas de teatro da Catalunia, mais a Buki, uma designer de set e eu, e haja pano viu?! Modelagem pra mim é 100% MATEMÁTICA e eu sou oposta a ela. Graças ao nosso amigo catalão, muito muito manjado no assunto, deu tudo muito certo e o resultado é uma experiência incrível de trabalho, apesar de eu não achar a coisa mais linda do mundo, eu diria interessante. Mas é Honda e é trabalho, é diferente e valeu cada hora mal (ou não) dormida. Foi demais fazer essa campanha, LO MÁS.

Oi! Bem vindo, muito prazer, BiBi! Direto e reto: sou eu louca por moda. Massss não sou capaz de viver de tendências. Não sou pró aquele "ai PRECISO!" e depois simplesmente não faz a mínima falta. Também não acredito em "todo mundo tem o seu estilo". Estilo é uma forma de expressão; estilo não se dita, nem se compra, não se contrata e não se forja. Tem gente que não tem, tem gente que não quer ter ou acha que é nome de revista, tem gente que não precisa, como tem gente que não gosta de cappuccino, muitas cabeças por aí, não é? E aí vem o outro parágrafo... O negócio é o seguinte, o mundo está cada vez mais cheio (cara! como tem gente no mundo) e eu não aconselho ninguém a sair na rua e não olhar em volta. Dentro de mim existem duas vontades, divididas meio a meio, na exata-mesma proporção; a de ser completamente diferente de todos vcs e a de igualdade. Nem uma nem a outra me permite ignorar o fato de que somos muitos, na verdade, somos sempre mais e a situação vêm ficando cada vez mais preta. Por isso pensa agora p/ pensar depois: "EU PRECISO?!" Mas pensa, pensou? Ok, agora, antes de sair por aí desperdiçando sacolas pensa no que você acabou de pensar denovo. E quando você tiver dúvidas, vai p/ casa e pensa denovo, se quando você voltar não estiver mais ali, vai por mim, "ELE" não te queria tanto assim... Porque a gente engorda, emagrece, envelhece e muda de opinião, e as vezes renovar é ótimo, até necessário, mas e quando não é? É quando te falta estilo, que te domina um consumismo oportunista, que vai virar lixo e vai piorar a bagunça que de gente em gente, precisamos começar a arrumar. Se a sua expressão é das que dizem muito com meras listras & poás, alou brechó né?! Ou Granny's closet tb pode ser uma caverna de aventuras... Ah, o que?!
